I was born in Birmingham, Alabama where I graduated from high school at Vestavia Hills High School. I went on to attend college at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. During college, I was selected to be a part of the Sociology Honors programs; a program which only had six available seats to be selected out of more than five hundred potential candidates. I excelled in the program and worked alongside multiple Sociology professors and educators substantially advancing my knowledge in Sociology throughout the process..

After college, I decided to go to law school and was fortunate to attend The
Birmingham School of Law. The Birmingham School of Law allowed me to work in the daytime while attending law school in the evenings. During law school, I
worked as a case manager for different attorneys at Alexander Shunnarah Trial
Attorneys advancing my knowledge and skillset in the field of personal injury law.
Finally, I graduated law school with my Juris Doctorate degree in December of
2014. I took the Alabama Bar Exam the following February and was admitted into
the Alabama State Bar on April 29, 2015 after passing the exam.
Thereafter, I moved to Mobile, Alabama where I started practicing law with
the Alexander Shunnarah firm. I worked with the firm out of its Mobile operation
and eventually out of the firm’s Baldwin County operation when the firm opened
an office in Daphne, Alabama. During this time I worked and resolved over eight-
hundred (800) personal injury cases over a nine year period with the firm achieving
exceptional results and gaining invaluable knowledge as a litigator.
My background in Sociology motivates me to want to help individuals who
have been adversely affected by trauma in their life such as a car collision, fall,
product injury, work injury or even a tragic death in the family. I try to keep my
motivation alive through the everyday conversations and experiences I have with
my clients, fellow lawyers and judges throughout the State of Alabama to
continuously enhance my knowledge and law practice.
Currently, I am Of Counsel with the Alexander Shunnarah firm, and I am
running my own law firm, Tony The Trial Lawyer. Tony The Trial Lawyer focuses
not only on traditional personal injury cases, but also undertakes other cases such
as criminal, immigration, wills and estates. My background gave me an interest in
wanting to help people in other ways outside of the personal injury world. There is
substantial need for competent legal representation in various fields of law
throughout Baldwin County, Mobile County and the surrounding areas, to include
the fields of criminal and immigration law, and Tony The Trial Lawyer is here for
all of your legal needs. My wonderful wife and partner is Meri Shunnarah. Meri and I enjoy fishing, going to live college football games, spending time with friends and
family, and attending Mardi Gras events. Meri and I are members of the local
Daphne-Spanish Fort Kiwanis club. I served as the President of the club for its
2023-2024 year. Kiwanis hold fundraisers to help generate money that goes to
directly help the children in the community. Meri and I commit time and service to
the Kiwanis club as a way of giving back to the community one child at a time.
Tony The Trial Lawyer has its law office located at 34 N Pine St., Bay Minette, Alabama which is right outside the Baldwin County courthouse square in Bay Minette, Alabama.
